After 21 Months, Kayle Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting End Their Marriage

After 21 months of marriage, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are getting a divorce.

The Big Bang Theory star and tennis player tied the knot on New Years Eve of 2013. The couple dated for six months, and at the three month mark they decide to tie the knot. The wedding was not an ordinary celebration as the festivities included fire breathers, costumed characters, and people on stilts. It looked like a fairy tale marriage from the start.

During their 21 month marriage, rumors swirled around the couple about both wanting to end their marriage. Cuoco answered back at the allegations saying,”From day one I just knew immediately, and it’s been magic……so all of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger.”

After the news broke earlier on Friday, most of Sweeting’s photos on Kaley’s Instagram account have been deleted, solidifying that the couple is no more. Her last post was a picture of her dog describing her “#mood”. Take a look:

Ryan Sweeting has gone through injuries during his tennis career and has never made it back to being a high known name. While Kaley Cuoco is  still one of the stars on The Big Bang Theory. The show is currently entering its tenth season where her character Penny married her off again on again boyfriend Leonard. It seems that Penny and Leonard’s relationship might be headed for a more promising marriage than Cuoco’s and Sweeting’s.

Cuoco’s rep told People magazine that the former couple “ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”
