J.R. Ewing Bourbon Is REAL!

Have you been watching the new version of the classic TV show “Dallas?”

I’ve been hooked since the show debuted on the TNT network a few years ago. Even had the chance to interview two of the stars from the show- Linda Gray and Josh Henderson.

Gray reprises her role as Sue Ellen Ewing, Henderson plays J.R. Ewing’s son John Ross Ewing (the third)!

In the most recent season I noticed a particular brand of bourbon named after the iconic character J.R. Ewing who was played by the legendary actor Larry Hagman.

Guess what Dallas fans? IT’S REAL AND YOU CAN OWN A BOTTLE!!!

The bourbon is made in collaboration with Warner Brothers Consumer Products, Warner Brothers Television Group and the Southfork Bottling Company.

Distilled in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon country, the 4-year-old, 80-proof light amber-colored bourbon is distributed in Texas, and will continue to expand toward full national distribution by the year’s end. Plans for international distribution are already underway as well.

You can’t miss the bottle which features a wooden stopper and image of the historical Southfork Ranch right on the bottle.

If you are a fan of the show, you will probably want to grab a bottle (if you are of age, of course!). After all, who wouldn’t want J.R. Ewing on their shelf at home?

Hint- the holidays are around the corner. This is a gift that will definitely spark some conversation. Might even finally settle that question of WHO really did shoot J.R.
