Julia Roberts’ Sister Left Suicide Note Blaming Actress
Julia Roberts’ half-sister Nancy Motes reportedly left a suicide note before taking her own life from an apparent drug overdose last Sunday. In the note, Motes is said to have written dark secrets about the Oscar-winning actress that she wanted made public.
What those secrets are have yet to be released (if true), but one thing that’s not a secret is Nancy Motes hatred of her sister. She reportedly dispised Robert’s success, even after the actress made several attempts to put the 37-year-old in rehab to help overcome a drug addiction. John Dilbeck, who found Mote’s dead in a bathtub on Sunday, denies reports that his fiancée was an addict.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles County Coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter has confirmed to Yahoo! that numerous “notes [were] found at the scene,” as well as “both prescription and nonprescription pills.”
“Julia tried in vain over the years, even in the last six months, to get Nancy to go to rehab,” a source close to Roberts told RadarOnline. “Nancy refused the offers and that is when she would often publicly lash out at Julia. It hurt Julia, but she knew her sister was battling addiction.”
Last month, Nancy took to Twitter to voice her disgust of her half-sister, “Hey Hag! Glad you f****ed with me yet? You’re going to LOVE what’s coming! FYI-You’re an awful, hate filled old pathetic excuse for a human.’”
On January 19, 2014, Nancy continued to voice her hatred by saying:
It unclear why, but Betty Lou Motes, the maternal mother of both Nancy Motes and Julia Roberts, completely cut off contact with Nancy six months ago.
“[Nancy] couldn’t stand the rejection of her mom, who in the last six months had cut her off entirely,” said John Fraschetti, a family friend of Nancy since he was 13. “It hurt her that none of her family wanted to be with her. She had a miserable Christmas, truly awful, and I think she just couldn’t handle it anymore.”
“They didn’t care when she was alive. She was a handful, and yes she had her problems, but there’s a way to deal with your relatives,” Fraschetti furiously added.
According to Conner Dilbeck, the brother of Nancy’s fiancee, Julia inflicted “pure cruelty” towards her half-sister and Nancy’s suicide letter was an attempt to reveal those details. He claims the letter is eight pages long, not five as previously reported by several media outlets.
Conner claims Motes deliberately timed her drug overdose in order to damage Julia Robert’s chances of winning an Oscar at next month’s Academy Awards.
“Nancy wanted the Truth to come out and she was Willing to Die to get her point across,” Conner wrote on his Facebook page. He lived with Nancy and John in their apartment for years and claims he had a front row seat at the mistreatment Nancy allegedly received from Julia. He added, “His lovely Fiancé, Nancy Motes, was driven to Take her Life yesterday because of the Pure Cruelty of her Sister, Julia Roberts (yes Ms. Pretty Woman herself), that has done everything in her power to Ruin her and my brothers lives.”
“We are talking about people who are powerful,” says Conner. “People who have very delicate power, people who are in the limelight. Their power can be destroyed very easily if unfortunate things make them look more wicked. They have to be careful, it can destroy their career or their Academy Award.”
What these “evil secrets” are about Julia Roberts have yet to be released. According to a New York Post source, “If Nancy had photos and wrote a diary, describing her feelings towards her sister, he could use them.”
“There is a fear that John could be holding Nancy’s personal items hostage and possibly sell them to the highest bidder,” the source added.
Officially at this time the death has not been confirmed as a suicide. Toxicology reports will be released in the next few weeks to confirm or refute the claim.

This is sad. I don’t know Julia Roberts personally but to hear that she bullied her sister is ridiculous. Nancy is gorgeous. Such a sad case. Jealousy is what caused Nancy misery
