Felicity Jones next film Inferno hits theaters this weekend. The film is the third installment in the Robert Langdon series which are based on the novels by Dan Brown and is a sequel to 2006’s The Da Vinci Code and 2009’s Angels & Demons.

Check out the official synopsis for the film below:

Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman from unleashing a global virus that would wipe out half of the world’s population.

For Jones, filming Inferno was a lot of fun, in part because it was her first time making an action film.

“It was my first real action film in many ways,” she remarked to BackstageOL’s Dave Morales. “There’s a real sense of mystery and we got to do a lot of running around and going into secret passageways around Florence. It was a real adventure for us making it.”

Another action film starring Jones will also be hitting theaters this year: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
