No doubt that you are familiar with the work of music video director Joseph Kahn.
His résumé of artists he has worked with reads like a “who’s-who” of musical acts. Artists like Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and U 2. That is just a partial list.
Kahn has now released a new movie titled “Detention.” He directed it and financed the movie himself.
You’ll recognize one of the main characters, Josh Hutcherson of “The Hunger Games” fame. Hutcherson was actually cast in “Detention” before he shot “The Hunger Games.”

We had a chance to speak with Kahn during a visit to Houston, Texas. Kahn is no stranger to Texas, having been born in the suburb of Jersey Village. We talked about the movie “Detention,” his music video work and, of course, Josh Hutcherson.
“Detention” is now playing in theaters.
