James Badge Dale & Taylor Kitsch On Training For ‘ONLY THE BRAVE’

Dale and Kitsch train like firefighters!

In this backstage interview, James Badge Dale and Taylor Kitsch talked about what it was like to train like firefighters for Only The Brave. The duo also shared their passion for wanting to do the film justice and to honor the fallen firefighters.

The film tells the true heroic story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a group of elite firefighters who risked everything to protect a town from a historic wildfire that occurred on June 30, 2013.

The film’s synopsis:

Through hope, determination, sacrifice and the drive to protect families and communities, the Granite Mountain Hotshots become one of the most elite firefighting teams in the country. While most people run from danger, they run toward it — watching over lives, homes and everything people hold dear, forging a unique brotherhood that comes into focus with one fateful fire in Yarnell, Ariz.
