Watch: New Trailer For Brad Pitt’s WWII Drama ‘Fury’

Sony Pictures has recently released its first trailer for the World War II drama Fury, which features actor Brad Pitt.

The American action-drama war film tells the story of a tank commander, known as Wardaddy (played by Pitt), who is forced to make a last stand against the Nazis behind enemy lines.

Below is the film’s official synopsis:

April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

Alongside Brad Pitt, the film co-stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jason Isaacs, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal.

In an interview with E! Online, Peña, who plays a U.S. soldier in the film, explained how the harsh battle scenes were brutal. “We were all insane people filming that,” he said. “The set was crazy and chaotic. [It was] really, really cold [during filming]. Everybody was really, really dedicated. It was a great shoot. I loved it.”

Director David Ayer’s Fury will now hit theaters on October 17th, instead of the previously intended November 14th date.
