Justin Bieber may star in the film adaptation of The Book of Mormon, based on the sold-out Broadway show that is making its way across the country.
In the religious satire musical, The Book of Mormon, two young Mormon missionaries are sent to Uganda but hilarious trouble ensues when they don’t fit in well with the locals.
“I think we want to do a movie someday,” said The Book of Mormon writer and South Park creator Matt Stone. “We’d definitely go younger than the stage cast because the camera gets so close.”
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker want The Biebs playing the part when they eventually (as in not any time soon) turn the show into a film. Bieber would likely play the role of Elder Price.
