Frank Ocean Makes TV Debut on ‘Fallon’ And Releases Album Early

Singer/Songwriter Frank Ocean made his network television debut on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Monday night (July 9).

He was backed by the Roots and a string orchestra and performed “Bad Religion” off his Channel Orange LP. “Bad Religion,” is the song in which he revealed his bi-sexuality and he discussed at length in an eye-opening Tumblr post last week. “I could never make him love me/Never make him love me.”

The album was made available on iTunes, a week ahead of its scheduled release date of July 17. The physical CD is still not out till next Tuesday. He also posted the album as a stream on his Tumblr.

The singers manager Kelly Clancy recently tweeted: “Frank’s Channel Orange is #1 on itunes in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Norway!!! BOW!!!

He has written and produced songs for Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West and many other artists.

The R&B singer-songwriter will kick off his North American tour on Friday in Seattle.
