Taylor Swift To Headline Pre-Super Bowl Concert

Taylor Swift is headed to Houston, Texas!

Announced on Tuesday (October 4th), as part of a multi-year deal with AT&T, Swift will headline the AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday Night on February 4th – the night before one of the year’s biggest sporting events.

The event will be held at a new custom-made 64,000 square foot venue in Houston. Tickets will be available through a series of promotions and campaigns from AT&T.

To celebrate the announcement, the Grammy winner tweeted an image of a football jersey bearing her lucky number – 13 – with the caption, “Thanks @ATT, this is gonna be fun”.

AT&T CEO John Stankey also shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying in a statement: “We’re thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways. We’re excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor’s fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world’s biggest artists with one of the world’s biggest sporting events.”

Meanwhile, news of Lady Gaga headlining the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime show was finally confirmed last week. “It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true,” tweeted the singer.

Super Bowl LI will be on Sunday, February 5th.
