Trent Reznor Politely Asks Canandian Politicians to Stop Using Nine Inch Nails Logo

Nine Inch Nails front man Trent Reznor recently sent out cease-and-desist letters to a couple of Canadian politicians who had made shirts using the groups logo. The shirt was supposed to represent the unison of Premier Rachel Notley, Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, and Mayor Naheed Nenshi.

The shirts were suppose to show the group’s unity in “Building Alberta Together” by using all three initials of the member’s last names. Three weeks after the shirts had been made, worn and sold, Trent Reznor’s lawyers sent a note politely asking for their logo to not be used any longer. “Please don’t use our logo – don’t use it for any purposes it’s protected.”

The shirts were intended to represent the political union of Premier Rachel Notley, Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, and Mayor Naheed Nenshi.

Mayor Naheed Nenshi denied knowing the logo was being used and stated that the shirts were not connected to him or his office. There is currently no litigation in place again the politicians and the offenders have reportedly stopped using the logo.
