Berry Gordy Talks LMFAO In Rolling Stone Magazine

Motown founder Berry Gordy recently spoke with Rolling Stone Magazine about the party rocking pop duo LMFAO. He was on hand at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony to celebrate the induction of the Miracles, the band that backed “his best friend for over 50 years,” Smokey Robinson.

The Motown legend also had close ties with LMFO. He is the father of Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy) and grandfather of SkyBlu (Skyler Austen Gordy), Redfoo’s nephew.

Gordy says the group “learned about what makes a hit record.” And now they help keep him current with pop music, he jokes, since they’re his offspring, “I have to listen to all their stuff.”
