Could Charlie Sheen Be The Next American Idol Judge?

Charlie Sheen could be an American Idol judge next season.

Jenifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler possibly could be out of ‘Idol’, but rumors say Charlie could be in!  Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is reported to be considering Charlie Sheen among the judges panel for next season’s American Idol.  Charlie told TMZ that he is on board if a few conditions are met including matching twenty percent of his weekly salary to give to several charities.

Charlie also reported to TMZ that he is serious about ‘Idol’ if producers of his FX show “Anger Management” sign off and ‘Idol’ is willing to show him the money.  If ‘Idol’ matches his weekly salary for the charities Autism Speaks, JDRF, and the Boys and Girls Club ” then to hell with it.  As we say, pour the smoke!”  Lythgoe reported to TMZ he would love to see Sheen on the show and also funny man Jerry Lewis.

In order to keep up with competition from ” The Voice” and “X Factor,” American Idol is looking to shake up and spice up the judges panel for season twelve with Adam Lambert in mind and even possibly Katy Perry and Fergie.
