First Look: Rob Lowe Stars in ‘Killing Kennedy’

National Geographic announced in May that Rob Lowe would portray President John F. Kennedy in the new original drama, “Killing Kennedy,” with Ginnifer Goodwin playing First Lady Jackie Kennedy.

The first trailer for National Geographic’s “Killing Kennedy” hit the web on Thursday, September 12. In the trailer, Rob Lowe delivers an uplifting Presidential speech. Lowe, while portraying Kennedy, is heard saying, “This is a very dangerous and uncertain world. No one expects that a life will be easy, but I am confident as I look to the future that our chances for security, our chances for peace are better than they’ve been in the past.”

The TV film is based on the best-selling book by Bill O’Reily and Martin Dugard, expressing one of the most shocking events in American history.

The two-hour original film by Scott Free Productions will air on November 10, just days before the 50th Anniversary of the president’s 1963 assassination.
