Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s Huge Raise

TLC “redneckcognize” June Shannon and her beauty queen daughter “Honey Boo Boo Child’s”(Alana Thompson) show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo to be a huge hit after the second episode aired. The family was originally getting between $5,000 to $7,000 an episode, but a close source told TMZ that TLC will raise the Honey Boo Boo clan’s salaries now between $15,000 to $20,000 an episode.

The network will also be covering other expenses for the family like a personal driver and bodyguard for Sugar Bear, who is still recovering from his ATV accident. TLC also tried to offer the family a bigger home, but June turned down the networks offer because she loves to decorate her house and community for Christmas every year. June has also been working hard at turning down agents out of fear that if she signs on a contract the agents will make her do multiple appearances that will take her away from her loving family.

The midseason finale confirmed the show’s status as a breakthrough hit, drawing 2.8 million viewers since it aired.TLC announced last week that they have ordered three HOLLAday specials for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was also the top-rated show on cable in the 18-49 demographic.

Sounds like the Kardashians have competition with this new reality-TV family.
