Kim Kardashian to run for Mayor of Glendale, CA

Kim Kardashian has announced plans to run for mayor of Glendale, CA., a suburb of Los Angeles. No, this is not a joke.

The reality television star genuinely believes that she can help the Armenian community in Glendale by becoming its major. Kardashian is so intent on running for mayor that she is already making plans to move to the city so she obtain residency within the city and run for the position.

Kim announced her plans during an episode on her sister Khloe’s television show Khloe & Lamar:

“I decided I’m going to run for the mayor of Glendale,” Kardashian announced on the show. Noelle [her assistant] is going to head my campaign, but it’s going to be in five years. I have to buy a house there – you have to have residency. Noelle and I are looking into all the requirements and she’s going to help me with my campaign, because it’s like an Armenian town. I need to wait, like, five years.”

Kim’s spokesperson confirmed the news in US Magazine:

“Kim has always looked for opportunities to grow and also do what she can to help and support the Armenian community. She’s learning more about ways in which she can help to do her part to make a difference in the community.”
