TMZ has reported that Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte was nearly attacked Monday night after his Dancing With The Stars performance.

Lochte and partner Cheryl Burke had just finished their routine, waiting on the judges feedback. A group of audience members ripped their shirts open to reveal a round symbol reading “No Lochte” on their chests. The group booed the Olympian when one protester rushed the stage.

The cameras unfortunately didn’t capture the incident, but some viewers on the East coast could hear the protest off screen.

Host Tom Bergeron cut to commercial break during the altercation, but upon return, Lochte was shaken. “I’m doing good. So many feelings are going through my head right now. A little hurt. I came out here and I wanted to do something I’m completely uncomfortable with, and I did.”

Lochte has been under the microscope after a video was release of him and other Olympic swimmers trying to break in to a gas station restroom in Rio. The proved that the swimmer lied to reports that he was held at gun point, Rio police later proved that the story was false.

BuzzFeed News has release video of the protest off-screen. Take a look at the footage below:
