Amazon has released the teaser trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos. A new drama following the behind-the-scenes look of one eventful production week during the filming of I Love Lucy. The film is expected to premiere in theaters on Dec. 10 and Prime Video on Dec.21 according to EntertainmentWeekly.
About the ‘Being the Ricardos’ Plot
The iconic couple will be played by Nicole Kidman as Lucille Ball and Javier Bardem as Desi Arnaz. Unfortunately, the couple faces personal and professional challenges off screen during one production episode of I Love Lucy in September 1952. Their crises include an investigation against Ball by the Un-American Activities Committee for potential ties to communism. As well as Arnaz’s tabloid cover story titled “Desi’s Wild Night Out.”
The movie also stars Jake Lacy, J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale and Alia Shawkat.
