It was reported early this morning that the streaming giant Netflix is working on Tiger King 2. This series will be a follow-up to the feline phenomena that landed during the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The first season of Tiger King introduced audiences to “big cat” life and a triangle of colorful characters, unbelievable lifestyles, and murder plots against long-time rivals. The main star, Joe Exotic, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin will return to direct this second season after the first racked up almost 65 million household views in the first month. Netflix has been scarce on the details but did confirm that the series will debut later this year.
