Bieber Trumps Gaga to Become King of Twitterland

In a glorious triumph, teen pop star Justin Bieber overthrows Lady Gaga to become King of Twitterland.

Lady Gaga has ruled the infamous land of tweets for the past two and a half years, but the Twitter queen reins no more!

Twittercounter.com showed Bieber jumping into the lead with 33.33 million followers, which tops Lady Gaga’s 32.32 million.

Bieber made his claim to fame after being discovered on YouTube in 2007.  Not only has he released two number one albums in the past 18 months but Forbes also named him the third-most powerful celebrity in 2012.

While Bieber remains the King of Twitterland it’s going to be a tight race in 2013 with Gaga in second place (33.32m followers), Katy Perry in third (31.49m followers), and tied for fourth place is Rihanna and Barack Obama with 26.17m followers.
