Harrison Ford Injured in Plane Crash

Harrison Ford has been injured after crash landing his vintage 2-seater airplane on an L.A. golf course.

Ford decided to make an emergency landing at the Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California when something went wrong in flight. So far, there’s no word on what caused him to make the emergency landing.

The actor reportedly suffered multiple lacerations to the head and was bleeding severely. Two doctors that happened to be on the golf course ran over to assist and treat the actor.

After emergency personnel arrived on the scene, Ford was transported to a nearby hospital for gashes to his head and possible fractures.

This isn’t the first aviation incident he has been involved in. An avid flyer, Ford was piloting a Bell helicopter during a training flight when it crashed in Santa Clara, California back in 1999.

He commented on the incident in 2008 saying, “Well, there was a mechanical failure while we were practicing power recovery autorotations. It was more or less a hard landing. Luckily, I was with another aviation professional and neither of us was hurt—and both of us are still flying.”
