Harvard Students Send Hamburger Into Outer Space

Mission control, this is base camp delicious burger, over. Skshh

A group of five Harvard students really took the idea of ‘fun with a hamburger‘ to new heights, sending a mouth-watering beef patty into outer-space, a place where no burger has gone before.

B.good, a local burger company based in Massachusetts was generous enough to help fund the mission.

The launch took place in Sturbridge, MA and reached heights of close to 30,000m (98,000 ft).  Attached to the burger was a GoPro Hero, and HTC Rezound phone (GPS).

The masterminds responsible for the ‘space burger’ are without a doubt some of the most intelligent amongst their peers.  Although, I have to question whether or not it was worth risking such a perfectly good piece of meat.

Nevertheless, mission “Space Burger” accomplished.  Over and Out. Skshh
