Lady Gaga: My Boyfriend Is In Charge

Lady Gaga may come across as a commanding and assertive woman on stage, but when it comes to her personal life she is apparently more submissive.

The “Do What U Want” singer revealed some details about her relationship with actor Taylor Kinney on Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up.

“Oh yeah, he’s like, totally in charge,” she stated when asked if she is submissive to him. “When I’m home I’m, like, shoes are off, I’m making him dinner, you know? He has a job, too, and he’s really busy. I’m in charge all day long. The last thing I wanna do is tell him what to do. We’re just really good friends. It’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do, female listeners who are out there.”

Gaga has been dating the Chicago Fire star since 2011 when she met him on the set of her music video “You and I.”

In addition to talking about her boyfriend, Gaga opened up about her b music video for “G.U.Y.,” which features Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Jesus, and more.

“Really I was interested in the way that we experience icons through technology and how when you are on your phone or on the internet, Jesus and Lisa Vanderpump and John Lennon and Andy Cohen kind of all exist in the same space now,” she said. “That’s what the video is for me as a feeling. When I am watching it, it’s how I feel when I am looking at pop culture through the new lenses that we all have to look through them.”
