Steve Wonder Changes the Life of Little Girl Fighting Cancer

Stevie Wonder has made one giant leap to help a 10-year-old little girl fight cancer.

The soul legend graciously donated $100,000 to 10-year-old Jasmine Faulk by presenting her with a large check during his performance at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last Saturday.

After presenting the check, Mr. Wonder went on to sing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’, which happens to be Jasmine’s favorite song by Stevie.  It was a heartfelt moment that touched not only the 10-year-old little girl, but cancer patients around the world.

Directly following the song, Jasmine grabbed the microphone and shouted, “I love you Stevie!” right before giving him a ‘bigger than life’ hug.

Jasmines father, a Hermosa Beach police officer, has been privately employed by Stevie since 1997.

To end, I must say, it takes a soft heart and a generous person to give such an impacting gift to such an innocent young lady.  The fight to defeat cancer continues to haunt people on a daily basis and in order to beat it we as a community have to do our part. Stevie Wonder did just that, and I would urge others to find that same soft spot in their heart and to do the same.
