‘Game of Thrones’ Video Games Trailer Released

The first trailer for the upcoming Game of Thrones video game has arrived. Telltale Games, the company that created similar games for AMC’s The Walking Dead and DC Entertainment’s Fables, developed the product. The Game of Thrones game series will be comprised of six episodes, beginning with Iron From Ice.

Players of the game will be part of House Forrester, a house who is loyal to the Starks. The Forresters have not appeared on the HBO series, but have been mentioned in George R.R. Martin’s book series. The episodes of the game will take place between the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 5.

The trailer only provides glimpses of the game, but it reveals that some of the Game of Thrones cast members are reprising their television roles for the game, including Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow).

No release date has been set for the first installment, but it will hit stores before the end of the year. The game will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4,Mac, PC and iOS.
