The Novel’s Adaptation with HBO Max

According to Deadline, the project is being developed by Oscar award winner Charlize Theron and her Denver & Delilah Films Label. Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s Double Dream production and Aperture Entertainment are also set to co-develop.

It is unclear whether Theron will star in the project as lead character, Lynnette Tarkington.

When it comes to directing a successful horror film, Andy Muschietti is the one for the job. Muschietti (director of It and It: Chapter Two from the classic horror novel written by Stephen King) is set to direct the pilot. With the stunning success of It, there is no shocker that this duo will help produce a truly frightening series.
