Aaron Paul Discusses the Impact of ‘Breaking Bad’

While promoting his latest film The 9th Life of Louis Drax, Aaron Paul, who is best known for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the hit TV series Breaking Bad, took a moment to chat about the crime drama with BackstageOL’s Dave Morales and the impact it made on television.

“It’s insane…it’s crazy,” Paul said in regards to how numerous people still talk about Breaking Bad, despite it concluding nearly three years ago. “It became such a part of pop culture, you know, TV history, and I feel blessed to have been a part of it.”

“People still call me ‘b—ch’ everyday,” Paul revealed, which was a word commonly used by his character Jesse Pinkman. “Not as much as they used to, but it still happens everyday.”

In his newest film, the supernatural thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax, which hits theaters this weekend, Paul plays the violent father of a nine-year-old boy who has curiously survived multiple near-death accidents.
