Backstage With Bradley Whitford For ‘Get Out’

Get Out hits theaters this Friday!

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with Bradley Whitford in this backstage interview to talk about his upcoming role as Dean in the horror pic Get Out.

Directed by Jordan Peele (his directorial debut), Whitford described him as a “kind, prepared, grounded human” who successfully executed his vision for the film.

As for the character he plays, The West Wing actor said he channeled Rosemary’s Baby to gather some inspiration for the thriller. “It’s a really fun character because there are many different layers.”

Synopsis:

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

Get Out hits theaters Friday, February 24th. Check out the full interview with Whitford below:
