Cedric the Entertainer and SON OF THE SOUTH director Barry Alexander Brown talk to Dave Morales about their historical drama that’s based on Bob Zellner’s autobiography “The Wrong Side of Murder Creek.”

The story is about a grandson of a Klansman coming of age in the deep south and joining the Civil Rights movement.

In the movie Cedric the Entertainer plays Reverend Ralph Abernathy, a mentor of Dr. Martin Luther King.
