Director James Gunn Talks ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ & Teases Vol. 3

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with director James Gunn in this backstage interview to talk about Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the sequel to 2014’s mega-hit Guardians of the Galaxy.

In the interview, Gunn explained the difference between creating the first film versus the sequel, stating that the latter was not as stressful to create knowing the success of the first.

The director then shared the process of choosing the right music for the film and gave us some insight on Vol. 3 – which is already in the works!

Synopsis:

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.
