FIRST MAN: Ryan Gosling & Claire Foy Talk Neil Armstrong Biopic

The stars are stellar in the Damien Chazelle–directed biopic.

Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy talk to Dave Morales about their roles in First Man. The film is based on astronaut Neil Armstrong (played by Gosling), and the legendary space mission (Apollo 11) that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.

In the interview, Gosling and Foy share what it was like to portray real-life people, training for space at NASA, delivering the famous line (“the Eagle has landed”), and more!
