Oscar Isaac, Sir Ben Kingsley and Nick Kroll star in Operation Finale, the true story of Israel’s search for Hitler’s most notorious SS officer, Adolf Eichmann, and the mission to capture him in Argentina to stand trial for the murder of over six million Jews during WWII.

The architect of Operation Finale, Mossad spymaster Isser Harel, is portrayed by Lior Raz who’s real-life experience as an undercover special forces operator for the Israel Defense Forces helped prepare him for the role.

In addition we sit down with Chris Weitz, the film’s director, who’s father was a Holocaust refugee that was involved in a plot to assassinate Hitler as well as helped liberate the concentration camp Dachau after becoming an agent for the OSS (precursor to the CIA) during the war.

The film’s synopsis:

Fifteen years after the end of World War II, a team of top-secret Israeli agents travels to Argentina to track down Adolf Eichmann, the Nazi officer who masterminded the transportation logistics that brought millions of innocent Jews to their deaths in concentration camps. Hoping to sneak him out of the country to stand trial, agent Peter Malkin soon finds himself playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with the notorious war criminal.
