Owen Wilson Talks Voicing Lightning McQueen For ‘Cars 3’

Wilson reprises his role of Lightening McQueen!

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with actor Owen Wilson in this backstage interview to talk about the successful animated franchise, Cars 3.

Wilson, who voices Lightning McQueen, shared how much he loves working on the film – which he explained gets him “street-cred” from his young kids.

The film’s synopsis:

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast cars, the legendary Lightning McQueen finds himself pushed out of the sport that he loves. Hoping to get back in the game, he turns to Cruz Ramirez, an eager young technician who has her own plans for winning. With inspiration from the Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns, No. 95 prepares to compete on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage.
