RZA on The Man with the Iron Fists

Through the years, RZA ( member of the multi-platinum rap group Wu-Tang Clan) has pushed forward into acting and writing music for several blockbuster films.

Our own Dave Morales went Backstage with RZA who co-wrote (along with Eli Roth), starred and directed the upcoming film The Man with the Iron Fists.

RZA talked about giving the film “that nostalgia look…but not of that 70’s grindhouse look” to the film.  He mentioned “finding a certain blend of colors that takes you to a fantasy world….making you feel like you are watching a classic movie”.

After watching The Man with the Iron Fists audiences will hopefully walk away “fully entertained and with some wisdom if you pay close attention”.  More than anything, “this movie is fun and entertaining.”

RZA mentioned that the film “is only about 25% CG (Computer Generated) and the other 75% real classic film-making.” He states that the film will be “from the moment it goes on pure visual and audio entertainment with some emotion and some pretty girls”.

Be sure to check out The Man with the Iron Fists in theaters November 2nd.  “It is definitely a popcorn movie,” says RZA.
