The Mauritanian: Jodie Foster & Tahar Rahim Reveal Civil Rights Abuses at Guantanamo Bay

Based on the New York Times best-selling memoir “Guantanamo Diary” by Mohamedou Ould Slahi, The Mauritanian is the story of a man who seeks freedom after being imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay for years without ever being charged.

The memoir has now been made into a major motion picture with Jodie Foster starring alongside Tahar Rahim (Mohamedou Ould Slahi), and directed by Kevin MacDonald.

Our very own Dave Morales talked to the cast about the gripping legal drama that sheds light on an often-overlooked civil rights issue in the United States.
