Tyler Perry (Gone Girl) sits with Dave Morales to talk about his new film, Acrimony, a psychological thriller starring Taraji P. Henson. Perry talks about what inspired him to write the film and how he hopes audiences will benefit.

The film stars Henson, Lyriq Bent, Jazmyn Simon, and Crystle Stewart, and follows a loyal wife who decides to take revenge on her unfaithful husband.

The film’s synopsis:

A faithful wife (Taraji P. Henson) tired of standing by her devious husband (Lyriq Bent) is enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.
