Snoop Dogg & The Game Lead Peaceful March To LAPD

“From today forward, we will be UNIFIED as minorities & we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us,” said the Game.

On Friday (July 8th), Snoop Dogg and the Game led a peaceful march to the Los Angeles Police Department headquarters, where they addressed the media and 37 new police officers at their graduation ceremony.

“I didn’t leave my house this morning with malice in my heart, with hate in my heart, or anger towards anyone, police officer or not,” said the Game. “If you are human being… this is a day of change.”

Snoop Dogg also addressed the new officers, saying, “We’re here to show love and support to the police force in Los Angeles and to get some understanding and communication. This is a great start. Now these students who are about to hit the streets can know that there is dialogue.” In an Instagram video, the rapper stated, “This is how you make moves, you make it happen. You get a dialogue going, an understanding, with the new recruits before they hit the streets, so that they know that we, just like them, we just want to live and go home.”

The duo organized the demonstration (dubbed “Operation H.U.N.T.”, acronym for “Hate/Hunt Us Not Today”) hours after five police officers were slain in Dallas – urging men to come together and help improve the relations between police and minority communities.

Early Friday morning, the Game posted on his Instagram page, illustrating that the objective of the march was to ensure that law enforcements are “aware that from today forward, we will be UNIFIED as minorities & we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us !!!”

The announcement, which was adamant on being non-violent, said, “Do not: bring any weapons or anything illegal. Do not come high or belligerent.. We don’t need any HOT HEADS or anyone there for the wrong reasons… We will stand as we are, UNIFIED.”
