Andrew Garfield Returns to Screens in Two New Films This Fall

Andrew Garfield became a household name after his mainstream introduction as Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network and as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man. But since 2014, we haven’t heard much from him other than a few under-the-radar films here and there, with the exception of Hacksaw Ridge. These days, the only time Garfield is brought up is when there’s a debate about who’s the best Spider-Man and if he will be in Tom Holland’s No Way Home.  Perhaps this is the year those conversations die out as the 37-year-old British actor is starring in not one, but TWO new films releasing later this year.

The trailer for The Eyes of Tammy Faye was released and stars Garfield alongside an almost unrecognizable Jessica Chastain. The film follows the rise and fall of the famous televangelist and her husband and is set to hit theaters on September 17th.

Today, we were given the trailer for Lin Manuel Miranda’s feature directorial debut TICK TICK… BOOM! In addition to Garfield, the film also stars Bradley Whitford and Vanessa Hudgens and will hit Netflix later this year.

Andrew Garfield is a very talented actor so it is quite exciting to see him back in bigger projects. It would be a shame to only associate him with Peter Parker, as his acting skills are up there with some of the best. After all, the man did win an Oscar for Best Actor in 2017.
