Bond ‘Spectre’ Cars Stolen in Germany

As filming for Spectre is underway, production has already reached a snag. Nine vehicles that were destined for the set of the next James Bond film were stolen from a garage in Germany.

The incident occurred at the Range Rover headquarters in Neuss, Germany where thieves stole five specially modified Range Rover Sport models and four other luxury vehicles worth a reported $1 million. Luckily, the official James Bond car, the new Aston Martin DB10, is safe and accounted for.

“We are aware of the theft of a number of Range Rovers in Dusseldorf, Germany. This is a criminal act and the police are carrying out a full investigation,” Land Rover told The Daily Express.

The Range Rovers were to be used during a scene that’s going to be filmed in the Alps. Other planned shoots for the film include locations in London, Rome, Mexico City and Morocco.

At this time German police have no leads on the theft.
