Brad Pitt Confirms ‘World War Z’ Sequel in the Works

While speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, Brad Pitt confirmed that a World War Z sequel is currently in the works.  The film was one of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters this summer and has been Brad Pitt’s most successful movie to date, earning an impressive $536 million at the box office.

Pitt told Variety, “we’re certainly talking about it, yeah. We have so many ideas on the table from just the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how zombie worlds work. We have so many ideas and so much information, we think we have a lot of stuff to mine from. We’re going to do our best and see what we get out of it.”

In the movie, Pitt plays a former UN investigator who must help find the solution to save the world from the impending doom of the “zombie” apocalypse.
