Well it seems that once you create a notably successful animated TV series and an equally successful Broadway musical, the only thing left to do is to form your own production company.
Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the masterminds behind the making of several hilarious productions including South Park and The Book of Mormon, have recently launched their own production company called Important Studios.
The name seems fitting doesn’t it?
The dynamic duo seems to think so. In a recent interview Matt and Trey joked, “Having worked with several different studios over the years, we came to realize that our favorite people in the world are ourselves.”
Instead of conforming to other studios’ demands, the two decided to just form their own company. Surprisingly, Important Studios already has an estimated value of $300 million. Not to shabby if you ask me.
