Ezra Miller to Star in Warner Bros.’ ‘The Flash’

The Flash is coming to the big screen in 2018 and Warner Bros. has confirmed who will play the lead role.

Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara announced that Ezra Miller will star as Barry Allen, better know as The Flash, in the upcoming film adaption of the DC comic. Miller, 22, is known for his breakout role in the Perks of Being a Wallflower and will play the super hero with super-speed and super-fast reflexes.

The CW recently launched the TV series The Flash starring Grant Gustin, but Warner Bros. doesn’t have any plans to use the same actors who currently star in the TV. The Flash starring Ezra Miller is planned to be released in 2018, but a director nor writer have been confirmed for the the film.

Tsujihara announced that the studio has quite a few DC projects underway, including Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League Part One (2017), Aquaman (2018), Shazam (2019), Justice League Part Two (2019), Cyborg (2020) and Green Lantern (2020).
