‘Fifty Shades’ Gets Darker In Latest Trailer

Beauty may get her Beast come March 2017, but some fairy tales have a dark side. In this day and age of “binding” contracts, the second chapter of the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy (written by E L James), sees Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Trying to entice the young woman back into his life, Steele counters with a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. But once they go down the road towards trust and stability, a few potholes spring forth as more of Christian’s past comes to light and new figures enter the picture.

Fifty Shades Darker is set to arrive in theaters just before Valentine’s Day (February 10th), and studio Universal Pictures has removed the blindfold to give audiences the second trailer for the anticipated sequel.

Fifty Shades Darker is directed by James Foley (Netflix’s House of Cards) and co-stars Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Ehle, Victor Rasuk, Luke Grimes, and Max Martini. Newcomers to the cast include Kim Basinger, Bella Heathcote and Eric Johnson.
