The first official trailer for Thor 2: The Dark World has been released by Walt Disney Studios.
The upcoming film has Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor, the crow prince of Asgard, and Natalie Portman as his love interest Jane Foster.
“Some say before the universe there was nothing. They are wrong. There was darkness,” the trailer begins.
Set a year after Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor must battle a mysterious new enemy that is older than the universe itself. Tested to his limits, Thor must go on a dangerous journey with Jane Foster that will force one of them to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Thor 2: The Dark World opens in theaters November 8, 2013.
