International ‘Star Wars’ Trailer Reveals New Footage From ‘The Force Awakens’

On Friday, Disney released a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer for Japan, and it features plenty of new footage that has not been seen in any previous trailers.

In the international trailer, more scenes are shown of Rey (Daisy Ridley), including her teaming up with BB-8, meeting Finn (John Boyega), and being attacked by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

A piece of dialogue also hints that Rey may be related to the Skywalker family, as many Star Wars fans have already speculated:

“Where do you come from?” Rey asks BB-8. After he makes some beeping noises, Rey adds, “I know all about waiting…for my family.”

Some familiar faces from the previous films appear, including Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and C-3PO, who is sporting a red arm.

“Hope is not lost today… it is found,” Lupita Nyong’o’s Maz Kanata says in a voiceover to conclude the trailer as a shot of Rey is shown.
