James Corden & Rose Byrne To Star In Sony’s ‘Peter Rabbit’

Stars James Corden and Rose Byrne and said to be in talks to star in Sony’s live-action/CG hybrid adaptation of Peter Rabbit.

The reboot, based on the children’s tale written by Beatrix Potter, will include a comedic modern twist, with Will Gluck (Easy A) on board to direct and co-produce, alongside Zareh Nalbandian of Animal Logic Entertainment.

Penned by Rob Lieber, the story will center on the rivalry between the mischevious Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor, an old man eager to keep rabbits out of his beloved garden.

Corden – British host of The Late Late Show With James Corden – last appeared on the big screen in 2014 for the musical film Into the Woods.

He would voice Peter Rabbit and Byrne (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and X-Men: Apocalypse) will play a live-action role.
