LA Film Critics Honor ‘Moonlight’ With Four Awards

Over the weekend, the LA Film Critics Association doled out its annual awards. The critics organization selected Moonlight as Best Picture and also recognized the film’s director, Barry Jenkins, with a directing prize. The drama, released by A24, also saw Mahershala Ali win for Best Supporting Actor and James Laxton for Best Cinematography.

Ali and Jenkins’s wins make them a perfect three for three with the National Board of Review, the New York Film Critics Circle, and now LAFCA.
