New ‘Jurassic World’ Photos Show A Revved-Up Chris Pratt

Three photos were released on Thursday, courtesy of The A.V. Club, from the highly anticipated Universal Pictures film Jurassic World.

The film, featuring images of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, and Ty Simpkins, is due out June 12, 2015, 22 years after the original blockbuster.

Jurassic Park, directed by Steven Spielberg, was released back in 1993 grossing $357.1 million domestically. In 2013, the dinosaur-filled film was re-released in 3D to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It’s total gross eclipsed to $1 billion worldwide, making it the 17th film to do so.

Director Colin Trevorrow’s upcoming sequel, Jurassic World, will be the series’ fourth film to be released. It stars Pratt as the central character, named Owen, who plays a scientist who conducts behavioral research on raptors.

Howard, dressed in an all-white ensemble, will play the part of Beth; her role in the movie is unknown. Two kids played by Kings of Summer actors Robinson and Iron Man 3’s Simpkins are also shown in the exclusive images. Photos of dinosaurs have not been released at this moment.

The film stars Omar Sy, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, B.D. Wong, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus.

The dinosaur saga lives on and will sure to be a huge hit next summer!
