New ‘Rogue One’ Teaser Released

Lucasfilm has released a new glimpse at Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ahead of the film’s second full trailer that is set to debut during NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics on Thursday.

The new fifteen-second teaser provides new footage, giving a brief look at the new U-Wing starfighter and characters Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen), Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen), and droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk).

Last month, a sizzle reel was released for the film at Star Wars celebration, which gave a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.

Set before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, a group of rebels led by Jyn Erso attempt to steal the plans to the Empire’s massive weapon, the Death Star.
