Peter Parker Navigates High School In ‘Spider-Man’ Trailer

“This is my time to prove myself.”

“But we have a Spanish quiz.”

Oh the perils of being a high school teen and a superhero. Time management can be real drag, but in the case of Peter Parker (Tom Holland), you have to take the good with the bad. As this latest trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming illustrates, there are perks to be had as the friendly, neighborhood webslinger. There are also reservations about wanting to do more only to find out that your supersuit is set to “Training Wheels Mode.” Thanks a lot, Tony Stark.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will open in theaters July 7, 2017 with Holland in his first solo outing as Peter Parker. When we last saw him, he was an added attraction in the epic airport showdown between Team Captain America and Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. This time, Parker juggles high school with stopping grand theft bicycling and a villain known as Vulture (played by Michael Keaton). Robert Downey Jr. makes a special appearance as Iron Man as does Tony Stark’s personal bodyguard/chauffeur Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). Marisa Tomei reprises her role as Parker’s aunt May, and in support we have Donald Glover (FX’s “Atlanta”), Logan Marshall-Green (Alien: Covenant), and the obligatory Stan Lee cameo.
